Ana Locking collaborates with The Walt Disney Company Europe, incorporating the iconic Donald Duck into her creative universe within the Antihero collection.
Far from a nostalgic interpretation, the character was reimagined from a contemporary perspective, positioning him as a symbol of the modern antihero: vulnerable, impulsive and deeply human. Donald thus becomes a narrative device that connects popular culture, personal memory and social reflection.
The proposal took shape in a series of garments where the character’s graphics dialogued with the aesthetic language of the collection, generating a conscious tension between pop iconography and conceptual discourse. The result was an intervention that displaced the character from his usual territory to inscribe him in a context of critical and emotional fashion.
With this collaboration, Ana Locking reaffirmed her ability to reinterpret the symbols of global popular culture and activate them from her own perspective, where irony, affection and contemporary thought coexist on the same surface.
The narrative was expanded through campaign images starring Leticia Dolera and Pablo Rivero, photographed by Rubén Vega.
