The 4EYES project presented at the New York Public Library. A collective initiative bringing together several Spanish designers (Juanjo Oliva, Duyos, Carmen March and Ana Locking) with the aim of promoting Spanish fashion on the international stage by taking it to the cultural heart of New York.

The proposal was structured as a hybrid experience between an installation and an expanded fashion show: a large-format video fashion show that interacted with a staging composed of forty mannequins displaying the collections of the four designers.

4Eyes was not only a collective exhibition, but also a gesture of cultural projection and positioning. It was a moment in which fashion was conceived as a language and a system of signs capable of inhabiting institutions dedicated to knowledge and memory.

Ana Locking’s participation in the New York Public Library consolidated a line of work that understands creation as a hybrid territory, where image, concept and emotion intertwine to construct new ways of seeing.
