Ana Locking was invited by Banco Santander to exclusively design the uniforms for the Santander F1 hostesses during the Formula 1 World Championship, bringing her fashion language to one of the most internationally visible sporting events.
Presented at the Spanish Grand Prix in Montmeló, the designs proposed a cosmopolitan, contemporary and decidedly feminine image, moving away from the traditional stereotypes associated with the world of motor racing. The objective was clear: to create an elegant and modern silhouette capable of communicating the speed, precision and global reach of Formula 1.
Beyond its formal function, the project proposed the uniform as a brand communication tool, capable of projecting a contemporary international image. A collaboration in which Ana Locking’s vision brought Banco Santander’s values of innovation and leadership to life in the context of Formula 1.

The uniform is based on a dress, jacket and shoes, creating an ensemble with a strong visual identity. The dress—with a square neckline and halter neck—exposed the shoulders and gave the body a more sporty look, while the skirt incorporated structural pleats that created depth and sophistication. The jacket, with its marked fitted construction, introduced subtle references to the world of racing through a silhouette similar to a technical jacket, with architectural shoulders and a clean, precise line.
The look was completed by high-heeled nappa leather shoes with crossed elastic bands, reinforcing the idea of dynamism and support linked to the imagery of motor racing.
