In collaboration with Acosta, this collection of bags and shoes is developed within the conceptual universe of Doppelgänger, a proposal that reflects on the idea of the double and the parallel identities that coexist in each individual. The German term describes that “other self” that accompanies us like a possible shadow: the life we imagine, the identity we project, or the alternative version of ourselves.

The collection is inspired by that ambiguous territory between reality and simulation, where the desire to be someone else coexists with the awareness of who we are. As in cinema—one of the key references of the project—the character and the actor intermingle until the representation becomes almost indistinguishable from reality.

The campaign translates this idea into the cinematic imagery of the Overlook Hotel, evoking the endless corridors of The Shining and the disturbing presence of the twin sisters as a symbol of doubling. In this scenario charged with narrative tension, the bags and shoes take the place of the characters, becoming their own doubles within a space where repetition and perspective suggest a multiplied reality.

This play on duplicity is also transferred to the design of the accessories through formal and chromatic contrasts. The silhouettes of the shoes combine precise construction with cutouts that introduce rhythm and openness, while the bags develop graphic compositions based on color overlays and clean structures.

In Doppelgänger, each piece functions as a displaced reflection: an accessory that inhabits the space between the real and the imagined, between one’s own identity and the constant possibility of becoming another.
