In collaboration with Acosta, this collection of bags and shoes is part of the conceptual universe of The Magic Mountain, inspired by Thomas Mann’s novel of the same name. The proposal reflects on the tension between rest and movement, between the need to stop time and the constant acceleration of contemporary life.

As in the alpine sanatorium that serves as the setting for the work, the collection imagines a suspended space where time seems to pass differently. A symbolic territory where the collapse caused by the turmoil of modern life coexists with the need for recovery, pause, and personal reconstruction.

The campaign translates this idea into a series of compositions that function as small landscapes frozen in time. Bags and shoes appear on blocks of grass and cobblestones, creating still lifes that evoke an intimate and domestic magical mountain, where the organic and the constructed coexist in balance.

The designs translate this dialogue through precise and elegant silhouettes. The shoes combine graphic structures with materials that provide visual lightness, such as transparent heels, while the bags develop clean, architectural shapes reinforced by chromatic contrasts that introduce rhythm and dynamism.

In The Magic Mountain, each accessory functions as a small visual refuge: a piece that inhabits a space between serenity and movement, reminding us of the need to find our own space for pause, even in the midst of contemporary vertigo.
