The Talk
x Castañer
In The Talk, femininity is constructed from a dialogue between opposites: between the austerity imposed by the present and the need to introduce small gestures of controlled opulence. A conversation where moderation and sensuality coexist in balance, proposing a new way of understanding contemporary elegance.
The collection imagines this encounter between two feminine gestures deeply present in 20th-century visual culture: the luminous fragility of Marilyn Monroe and the firm serenity of Jacqueline Kennedy. Two ways of inhabiting femininity that, far from clashing, complement each other and generate a new language where idealism and romanticism find their meeting point.
The Talk sandals, developed in collaboration with Castañer, are constructed from a system of technical cords that wrap around the foot and ascend around the leg in a sinuous path. These intertwined lines create a flexible architecture that combines structural precision and freedom of movement, while the esparto base introduces a handcrafted dimension that connects the piece to Mediterranean tradition.
The visual campaign places the footwear in compositions that evoke the imagery of classic still life reinterpreted from a contemporary perspective. Flowers, fruits, and velvet surfaces construct small scenes where each shoe becomes the protagonist of a silent conversation between sobriety, sensuality, and desire.
